6) 30X and 60X Silicone Oil Objectives
These new objectives offer brighter, higher resolution performance for live cell and time-lapse imaging.
- Silicone oil reduces the mismatch between the refractive index of the specimen and that of the immersion medium, which provides higher resolution and brightness.
- The 30x, has a 1.05 NA, 0.8mm working distance. The 60x, has a 1.3 NA, 0.3mm working distance. Both reduce loss of contrast due to spherical aberration.
- Reliable colocalization data and 3D microstructure observation.
7) New Features In the DP21 Camera
The DP21 is a 2 megapixel digital color camera with an ultra-fast, full-resolution live image preview of 15 frames per second.
